The Limelight Hotel project featured a highly specialized exterior cladding system designed to achieve the appearance of smooth metal paneling through an advanced EIFS application. Installed over mineral wool insulation, the system required multiple layers of reinforced base coats, Milano finish applications, custom color coatings, and reflective sealers to create an exceptionally refined surface rarely achieved within traditional EIFS construction. The scope included over 22,000 square feet of Sto mineral wool EIFS and DEFS, along with exterior fireplace installations clad in 2” Black Granite. The finished exterior balances durability, precision, and contemporary mountain architecture, contributing to the Limelight Hotel’s clean, modern aesthetic.
